Shayne started collecting glass bottles and Coca-Cola memorabilia as a young kid. After a lifetime of junking, Shayne turned his hobby into a career. His ability to spot unique items and build a loyal following has made his business a success. While shopping and working at countless estate sales, he hosted one of his customer’s estate sales following the death of her parents. With the success of his first sale, he was encouraged by his sister Kelley to put his years of experience and research towards pursuing the estate sale business.
Kelley has had a successful career in the medical device industry. While managing a startup and raising children, Kelley found the time to help Shayne grow his business. After shopping numerous estate sales and seeing the success of Shayne’s first sale, she was inspired.
Combining Kelley’s years of serving customers, Shayne’s industry experience and their shared creative ideas, they started the family business Purple Shirt Estate Sales.
